This Privacy Policy explains how Soulvai collects, uses, shares, stores, protects, and deletes personal data when you browse public pages, create an account, chat with characters, publish content, contact support, or purchase a paid feature.

By using Soulvai, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Soulvai, we may collect:

• Account information, such as your email address, display name, profile image, login provider, locale, and account preferences.
• User content, such as characters you create, profile fields, prompts, public character pages, images, descriptions, and other content you choose to upload, publish, or send.
• Chat and interaction data, such as messages, follows, gifts, favorites, creator activity, moderation signals, and related usage history.
• Payment and billing data, such as subscription status, purchase records, invoice references, transaction metadata, Stripe customer identifiers, and payment event records. We do not store your full payment card number.
• Device, log, and usage data, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, language settings, timestamps, referring pages, and interaction events.
• Support and safety data, such as emails, contact form messages, support tickets, abuse reports, verification records, and troubleshooting logs.

How We Collect Information

We collect information:

• directly from you when you create an account, publish content, send messages, make purchases, or contact us
• automatically when you use the website and related services
• from third parties that support our operations, such as login providers, payment processors, hosting providers, storage providers, analytics tools, and fraud-prevention services

How We Use Information

We use personal data to:

• provide, maintain, and improve Soulvai and its features
• authenticate users and secure accounts
• process subscriptions, credits, payments, refunds, and billing support
• operate chat, creator, discovery, public page, sharing, and moderation systems
• detect, investigate, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, policy violations, and security incidents
• communicate with you about transactions, service updates, support matters, or legal notices
• comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms, resolve disputes, and protect our rights, users, and platform

Where required by applicable law, we process personal data on one or more recognized legal bases, including performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, and compliance with legal obligations.

Public Content and Search Visibility

If you publish a character or other content publicly, that information may be visible to other users, search engines, and third-party visitors. Public content is intended to be shareable and may remain visible until you unpublish or delete it and indexing systems update.

Do not place sensitive personal information, confidential business information, financial account information, government identifiers, or other private data in public character content or public profile fields.

How We Share Information

We may share information:

• with service providers and vendors that help us operate the service, such as hosting, storage, analytics, email, customer support, authentication, moderation, and payment providers
• with payment processors, including Stripe, to complete purchases, manage subscriptions, prevent fraud, and maintain billing records
• with professional advisers, auditors, insurers, or corporate affiliates where reasonably necessary
• when required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other lawful process
• to protect the rights, safety, and security of Soulvai, our users, or the public
• in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards

International Transfers

Soulvai and its service providers may process data in countries other than the country where you live. When required, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate contractual, technical, or organizational safeguards for cross-border data transfers.

Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:

• provide the service and maintain account functionality
• preserve transaction, tax, accounting, and subscription records
• detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats
• investigate complaints and enforce our Terms
• comply with legal obligations and lawful requests

When data is no longer needed, we may delete it, de-identify it, or aggregate it. Some information may remain in backups or security logs for a limited period before deletion or overwriting in the ordinary course.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for using appropriate care before publishing content or sharing sensitive information.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of personal data, restriction or objection to certain processing, portability of eligible data, or withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.

• update parts of your profile and account settings in the product
• manage subscriptions through the billing page
• request support through support@soulvai.com or our contact page
• use available account tools to remove public content or delete your account

We may need to verify your identity before completing a sensitive privacy request. We may also deny or limit requests where permitted by law, including when we need to retain data for security, fraud prevention, accounting, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement purposes.

Account and Data Deletion

You can request account deletion through the security settings in your account or by following our Delete Account process. If you cannot access your account, contact support@soulvai.com and we may ask for information needed to verify ownership before processing the request.

When an account deletion request is completed, we will delete or de-identify personal data associated with the account except where retention is reasonably necessary or legally required, including for transaction records, fraud prevention, abuse tracking, security, backups, and compliance obligations.

Deleting your account does not automatically refund prior charges or cancel financial obligations already incurred. Subscription cancellation and refund review are handled under our Terms of Service.

Children

Soulvai is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly allow children to use the service. If you believe a child has provided personal data to Soulvai, contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date above.
